State NCP Chief Jayant Patil mocked Union Minister Raosaheb Danve's claim that 25 Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) legislators were in communication with the BJP, claiming that if they crossed over, the MVA would defeat them in elections. When MVA partners Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress are together in the state, Patil believes that no legislator will dare to migrate and contemplate becoming a BJP legislator.

"There is no chance that MVA legislators will swap sides. Anyone who rebels will not be seen in the legislature again, as the people will give them a lesson. According to the BJP, 25 legislators planned to skip the state legislature's budget session, but resigning from the assembly and winning again is difficult. People will pursue legislators who transfer to the BJP," Patil said.

Even BJP legislators are pleased, according to Patil, because the state government has increased the MLA fund to Rs 5 crore from Rs 4 crore, which will be used to support developmental projects. Shiv Sena Minister Abdul Sattar, on the other hand, disputed Danve's assertion, claiming that MVA had contact with the BJP's 25 legislators. He told Danve to pay attention so they wouldn't have to transfer over.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Tapase, the state NCP spokesman, has slammed the BJP for insulting party chief Sharad Pawar. Despite being drenched in rain, the BJP predicted that Pawar's party will lose half of its 105 seats in the 2019 assembly elections. In a mocking remark, Tapase said that BJP politicians contracted pneumonia after Pawar was wet in the rains during the NCP's assembly election campaign in 2019.
