Shiv Sena Spokesperson Sanjay Raut: The MVA will rule for 3 more years
In a recent statement, Shiv Sena’s spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray will remain the Chief Minister of the state even after 2024. Further, he attackingly questioned that “if the Chief Minister of Gujrat can be the Prime Minister of this country why can’t the Chief Minister of Maharashtra?” and stated that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition will remain for 3 more years and that too successfully.

In a recent idea that has sparked amongst the Shiv Sena of a possible alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections, Raut stated that the party will have an extensive discussion with Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. “It will be good if we reach an understanding, if not we are always ready to solo,” stated Sanjay Raut.

Speculation of a possible difference of opinion was being made between the parties in Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) over the multimember ward system for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) 2022, announced by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to which the Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that there was no difference.

This agitated statement of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) staying in the state and ruling soon comes after a statement given by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary CT Ravi stating that the “Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition in the state of Maharashtra wouldn’t last long as the DNAs of the three parties ruling together, were not similar to each other”. Further, he also alleged that the sentiments of people in the state of Maharashtra were against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.

“After the statements given by Shiv Sena leaders, there is a discussion rising of Shiv Sena coming together with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) once again and only some time is left for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) to rule in the state,” stated General Secretary CT Ravi.
