Sharad Pawar takes a jibe at BJP stating that there is no alternative to PM Modi’s leadership

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, the party leader and supremo Sharad Pawar stated that it is very wrong to state that there is no competition opposite to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

“It is very wrong to state that the Opposition parties do not have a competition with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

The opposition at the time of PM Indira Gandhi when she had imposed an Emergency in the country didn’t have any face. But soon after Morarji Desai’s leadership emerged after the powers were against him,” stated Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar. 

 

This comment from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar, came soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) continuous arguments were out that there is no leader alternative to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar is a part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government consisting of Shiv Sena and Congress. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has been a supporter of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) opposition. 

 

He earlier too slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stating that citizens wanted an alternative to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and it is the responsibility of the political leadership to fulfill their expectations. These statements from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar came soon after the leader held meetings with leaders from many political parties and civil society members, which was organized by Yashwant Sinha led Rashtra Manch, the former Union Minister. 

 

 

Responding to actor Vikram Gokhale’s statement supporting Kangana Ranaut’s derogatory comments, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar stated that there was no need to pay any heed to these statements. Actress Kangana Ranaut in her recent statement which made controversies had stated that India got freedom after 2014 before that the freedom which we got was bheek.
