Sharad Pawar and the NCP are communal, according to the BJP's strategy: NCP spokesperson on Fadnavis' tweets

The NCP, which shares power in Maharashtra with the Shiv Sena and the Congress, has retaliated against the BJP's leader Devendra Fadnavis, alleging that the saffron party can't beat the NCP in numbers or development activities, so the best plan is to paint it as communal.
Mahesh Tapase, the state's chief spokesperson, responded to 14 tweets from Fadnavis accusing Pawar and the NCP of playing appeasement politics. Tapase slammed Fadnavis' claims, saying that by calling the NCP communal and focusing on Pawar, Fadnavis is attempting to build a community picture. "Isn't it interesting that MNS chief Raj Thackeray was just saying the same thing a few days ago?" he wondered.
Pawar mentioned the 13th bomb blast (which never happened) on Doordarshan mainly as a humanitarian measure to prevent large-scale communal riots in Mumbai and Maharashtra in the aftermath of the 1993 bombing. Pawar's action was praised by the Justice Sri Krishna Commission since it saved hundreds of innocent lives.

"As Chairman of the Constitution's drafting committee, Dr. BR Ambedkar stated that two things must be safeguarded: a) the principle of equal opportunity and b) the desire of the communities that have had no representation thus far. Is Fadanvis aware of this?" Tapase enquired.
"Fadanvis entirely misquoted Pawar's views on the repeal of Article 370, which he expressed in 2019. In the run-up to the Maharashtra elections in 2019, the BJP attempted to create a narrative around Article 370, to which Pawar responded by saying that the BJP is avoiding the actual issues of farmer suicide and rising unemployment in Maharashtra."
"A high-level commission headed by Justice Rajendra Sachar was formed to investigate the social, educational, and economic state of India's Muslim population. What's wrong with demanding that a government committee's report be implemented? ", Tapse explained.
