Because of severe weather, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to cancel his rally in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, but NCP spokesperson and Maharashtra Minority Minister Nawab Malik said that he did so because the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is having trouble in the state.
"Modi Ji had to attend an election rally in Bijnor today. He cancelled the excursion under the guise of inclement weather, even though the sun is shining from Delhi to Bijnor. Perhaps he's referring to the BJP's weather, which appears to be deteriorating in the run-up to the election ", Malik claimed in a tweet on the saffron party's situation in Uttar Pradesh.
Due to adverse weather, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first physical rally in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh was cancelled on Monday, and he is now addressing the election meeting virtually. The Prime Minister's rally was planned for the Bardaman college grounds in Bijnor, but because of terrible weather, he was unable to attend, according to BJP sources.
The prime minister is currently giving a virtual speech to the nation. Bijnor has eight assembly seats, five of which are now held by the
BJP and the remaining three by the
SP. The district, which has a Dalit and Muslim population of about 50%, has two Lok Sabha seats, Bijnor and Nagina, both of which are held by the
BSP.
