Nana Patole, the President of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, vehemently refuted media claims that there was rising disagreement among party legislators over the MVA government's functioning. Patole's clarification comes a day after reports that some 25 disgruntled Congress legislators may visit with Congress President Sonia Gandhi next week to present their case against the MVA government's functioning, in which the Congress is a junior partner.

"The MVA government is stable, and the government is not in danger." The news claims of discontent and dissatisfaction among party legislators against the MVA government are false. There's nothing wrong with some legislators and leaders wanting to meet with top party leaders," Patole added.

'Was everything fine while the BJP-Shiv Sena government was in power in the state from 2014 to 2019?' Patole wondered. He accused the BJP of creating rumours about disgruntled Congress MPs. Kunal Patil, a Congress legislator from Dhule who would be one of the 25 legislators who have requested a meeting with Congress President Rahul Gandhi, has ruled out dissent. "Party legislators will be in New Delhi next week for a training hosted by the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. As a result, the legislators have set up a meeting with the party's president to meet with her and ask for her advice. He clarified, "There's nothing else to it."

Despite the MVA government's being in power since November 2019, another MP expressed dissatisfaction with the Congress ministers' treatment of them. "It was determined that each Congress Minister will oversee the work of four MPs in their respective constituencies, ensuring that required finances are available for timely completion of projects." However, little has been done in this area thus far, and if they are neglected further, the Congress party may suffer a significant loss in the state's approaching local and civic body elections," he warned. However, state BJP head Chandrakant Patil asserted that there is growing discontent among Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress members. He said that Shiv Sena legislators were enraged by the insufficient funding provision.
