Sharad Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday as government agencies ramped up their investigation against Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi officials. The meeting, which lasted 20 minutes, sparked curiosity because it took place amid increased activity by central probe authorities against leaders of Maharashtra's ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance. The governor of Maharashtra has been delaying the nomination of 12 members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council for the past two and a half years.

"I'm hoping the Prime Minister will take some action," he remarked. He also brought up the matter of the Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut's properties being seized. He also said during his press conference that the MVA government is stable and will return to power after the next assembly elections. He also stated that he is not interested in becoming the chairman of the UPA. For dinner in the national capital, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, and Maharashtra MLAs from various parties arrived at Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chairman Sharad Pawar's residence.

MLAs from Maharashtra attended a tea party at Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's house at 6 p.m. earlier in the day. Sharad Pawar hosted a meal for Maharashtra's MLAs today, as leaders from all parties are in town for a training session in Parliament. According to insiders, the training programme is for all first-time MLAs in the country's legislative system.
