In a recent attack ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece Saamana stated about the violence that took place in Amravati in the wake of communal disharmony in Tripura, stating that these were happening because the elections are upcoming. 
 
The editorial further stated that the silence on the attack on Hindus in Bangladesh is a sign of the failure of the Narendra Modi led government. Amid this, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ashish Shelar and many other leaders from the opposition alleging that liquor and money were distributed to youth result of which riots were held. 
 
The editorial further stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is losing popularity in Tripura as Mamta Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has made entry there, this is the reason why Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has opted for this politics to incite religious sentiments so that it has a grasp on power. 
 
The bandh was called by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to protest against the violence that took place in Nashik, Amravati and Nanded on Friday. The editorial further attacking stated that if the sentiments of Hindu are hurt and they are being threatened then it is the failure of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led centre government ruled by Modi, and they should be questioned about it as soon as possible. 
 
 
Further blaming the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik stated that the riots were started by Anil Bonde and other leaders with conspiracy as reports are being released of Mumbai having distributed money in Amravati, are also being probed.
