Aaditya Thackrey, the grandson of Maharashtra Cabinet Minister and Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray, slammed the Central government on Thursday for "playing electoral games" by enabling Central agencies to go after politicians during the election.
"The federal administration is deceiving voters. When elections are announced, all agencies begin their work "When questioned about the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) move against Maharashtra Minister and
NCP leader Nawab Malik, Aaditya Thackeray said ANI.
Aaditya also went after former Maharashtra Chief Minister and
BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis for his remarks about the Maha Vikash Aghadi (MVA) government's support for Nawab Malik. "I don't think his (Devendra Fadnavis) statement is really important. Now you can tell how unhappy and frustrated he is. He expresses whatever is on his mind. MVA has come together. The people of Maharashtra are behind us, and we will keep moving forward and working for the public good "Aaditya expressed his thoughts.
When asked if Shiv Sena is contemplating another MVA-style alliance in Uttar Pradesh, where the party is fielding 37 candidates for the first time in separate Assembly constituencies, Aaditya stated, "Shiv Sena's win in Dumariyaganj is assured." "People's enthusiasm for the Shiv Sena is palpable, as is their wrath at the Uttar Pradesh administration," Aaditya remarked.
The Maharashtra Minister further stated that the
Shiv Sena hopes to win "as many seats in Uttar Pradesh as possible." Aaditya had previously expressed his party's ideology to the public when speaking at a public rally in Dumariyaganj, a town and tehsil in Siddharthnagar district in eastern Uttar Pradesh located on the bank of the Rapti River, 30 kilometres south of the Nepal border.
The 32-year-old leader, who is now serving as Maharashtra's Minister of Tourism and Environment, began his Shiv Sena campaign by requesting support from party candidate Raju Srivastava, who is running in the 306-Dumariyaganj Assembly constituency in Siddharthnagar district.
