In the midst of an intensifying battle of words in the state between the ruling Shiv Sena and the opposition BJP, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday warned union minister Narayan Rane to stop threatening him because they know his horoscope as well.
"Narayan Rane threatens us by claiming to have our horoscope. Stop threatening people. Your horoscope is also available to us. Even if you are a Union Minister, this is in Maharashtra. Keep this in mind. We are your 'baap,' as you are well aware of the term "Sanjay Raut, the Shiv Sena's leader, said
After the Shiv Sena-run
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) gave him the notice to inspect his bungalow here, Union minister Narayan Rane stated on Saturday that he had obtained all the requisite approvals and that there were no anomalies in the building.
The
BJP leader further claimed that the
Shiv Sena and 'Matoshree,' a reference to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, whose private mansion in suburban Bandra carries that name, were "hounding" him. The BMC sent a notice to Rane's bungalow in the posh Juhu neighbourhood on Thursday, requesting that the premises be inspected and measurements were taken. The 'Adish' bungalow is located in Mumbai's western suburbs, in the K-west civic ward.
The notice stated that a civic team would visit "to inspect the said premises and to take measurements and photographs of the same," and that the "owner" (who was not named in the notice) should be present for the inspection, along with the structure's most recent approved plan or authentic documents.
Rane told reporters here that he had obtained the essential permissions before constructing his bungalow nearly a decade ago. "The structure (his residence) was designed by a reputable architect and erected in accordance with all building codes. There hasn't been a single inch added to the structure since it was completed because there was never a need for it "he stated.
