In a recent attack on the
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the
Shiv Sena in its editorial Saamana stated about the sudden change of the leader in Gandhinagar. Bhupendra Patel the BJP MLA is the first time being chaired as a Chief Minister which shows the way of functioning generally associated by the Congress Party and stated that this shows the “balloon” of Gujarat’s development model which has burst, said the editorial.
The editorial further went on to state that, the people of Gujarat were very angry as the healthcare system collapsed in the second wave of Covid 19, at the time of Vijay Rupani, was the Chief Minister. With this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) too realized that the influential Patidar community to which Patel belongs is burned up with their party following which there was a change in the top of the adjoining state.
“This is what happens in the Congress Party, and we need to call it democracy,” stated jokingly Shiv Sena in Saamana, which a former ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), now sharing powers with
Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the State of Maharashtra.
“Never in four years, was Patel made a minister, but how come he is directly sworn in as Chief Minister, if the state was truly on the path of development, then why the Chief Minister was changed overnight?” stated Saamana. There is so much shouting about Vikas (Development), but if amid the leadership is changed, it will obviously raise doubts in the minds of people, further stated the editorial.
“The present Chief Minister Patel is a loyal supporter of the former Chief Minister and also Rupani had a loyal relationship with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, these relations are going to make the upcoming days even more interesting,” stated the publication. No party leaves any stone unturned to attack one another ahead of the
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022.
