After the arrest of the Union Minister of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Narayan Rane for his contentious statements against the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray. The Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is expected to again resume the rally named Jan Ashirwad Yatra (JAY) from Friday in Ratnagiri and continue the rally till Sindhudurg for two days before it ends.

The clashes between the Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continue to the uproar with fresh cases and allegations being registered. In the statement where Union Minister Narayan Rane could be seen stating that their party would pull skeletons out of cupboards, responding to which the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana stated that there is a need for a probe by the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in the matter of the murder of four political activists in Konkan who are said to be the rivals of the Union Minister Narayan Rane.

The Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray chose to not speak anything on this matter for the last three days, on Thursday he taunted Narayan Rane stating that again there was some virus which is to be shown their place. If Union Minister Narayan Rane returns to the Yatra, a new round of clash is expected in Sindhudurg. After the prohibitory orders imposed by Sindhudurg collector on banning assembly of more than five people, the Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that this was an attempt to stall the yatra.

“A legal advice is being taken over the prohibitory orders which have been issued by the Sindhudurg collector as Narayan Rane will be entering his home district after becoming the Union Minister and nobody can stop him from doing this and meet people from his constituency,” stated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Yatra in-charge Pramod Jathar.
