Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, declared on Sunday that he was thinking about organising a peaceful state-wide bandh to protest Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari's claim that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was once an icon. Raut also attacked the BJP and Koshyari. Nupur Sharma was expelled from the party because Muslim nations criticised her comment on the prophet, according to Raut's recent Rokthok in Saamana column. He asserted that the BJP, though previously silent, was now siding with those who had denigrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He asserted that there was a plot to render Maharashtra powerless.

I'll wait for three to five days, said Thackeray, who had urged all political parties to band together against the governor and put pressure on the Union government to recall him. I will get in touch with all the state's political parties at that time to organise a coalition against him. I'm considering organising a calm state-wide bandh to protest Koshyari," he continued. "The soul of Maharashtra is the spirit of Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati or Udayan Raje," the governor said in reference to a contentious speech. The Maha Vikas Aghadi has persisted in speaking out on this matter.

In this context, Uddhav Thackeray has issued an ultimatum. The way the BJP is insulting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the Chief Minister of Karnataka is criticising Maharashtra, according to Thackeray, should bring us all together. I believe that swift action will be taken in this direction, according to Raut. When Thackeray suggested a statewide bandh, BJP Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar responded, saying that Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj "is an inspiration to us as long as there is sun, moon, and earth." Any political party has the right to issue an ultimatum. Anyone has the authority to make an ultimatum, he continued.
