On Monday, the Congress party, which shares power in Maharashtra with the Shiv Sena and the NCP, slammed the BJP and MNS for allegedly trying to destabilise the climate by bringing up the subject of loudspeakers. Nana Patole, the president of the State Congress, argued that this not only tarnishes the state but also hinders future investment and employment growth.

"We all have religious freedom under the Constitution, and the state government should take harsh measures against anyone who tries to restrict that freedom." The government should put an end to the theatre being staged to discredit the state," he stated. According to Patole, Maharashtra is a law-abiding state where no one is above the law. The administration is following the Supreme Court's orders on the subject of loudspeakers.

Instability and communal tensions are impeding the development of the state. Instead of encouraging the youth, Raj Thackeray should consider employing them," he remarked. There was not a single word in his address on the common man's problems with inflation and unemployment.

Devendra Fadnavis' speech at the rally, dubbed Booster Sabha, was nothing more than a demonstration of their eagerness to gain power. They are now boasting that the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was demolished. There is no reason to be astonished if the claim that the mosque in Ayodhya was demolished by the BJP is true," he said.
