On Sunday, NCP State President Jayant Patil chastised the BJP-led central government for its unwillingness to assist the Maharashtra government through central programmes. "The important central programmes that were earlier received by the state of Maharashtra and many other states at the time of Manmohan Singh Government can be seen nowhere today in the Modi government” he further added.

He claimed that the Modi government is running the country's economy by placing high taxes on gasoline and fuel, which he claims is hurting the poor. He went on to say that the government should try to lower taxes and make fuel available at international prices.

The Modi government, according to Patil, is working to run the country's economy by putting taxes on gasoline and fuel. He claims that these measures harm the middle class and the destitute. It will be appreciated if the Modi government strives to decrease fuel taxes and make fuel available at international prices. Patil explained. Patil stated that the Centre's yearly budget for 2022-23 will be prepared with an eye toward assembly elections in five states, as well as luring farmers who have protested against farm laws.
