The BJP is committed to winning Baramati in the upcoming elections

Following BJP leader and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah's visit to Mumbai, state BJP chairman Chandrashekhar Bawankule visited Baramati, the hometown of NCP leader Sharad Pawar, on Tuesday and declared the party's intention to win the Lok Sabha seat in the next 2024 elections.

 

Before Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's three-day visit to the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency to hold assembly seat-by-assembly meetings of the party members, Bawankule's visit was to oversee the party's preparations. After meeting with the party's officeholders, Bawankule declared that the BJP will make every attempt to win the Baramati Lok Sabha seat and that the party was determined to destroy Pawar's stronghold.

 

"Numerous individuals in the nation have won elections over the past 40 years, but the BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has taken over their strongholds. As the party is determined to win the seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a significant battle is anticipated in Baramati "he observed

 

"We want to fortify the company and quicken the growth process. We aim to give the populace what they haven't had yet. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, has been chosen as the party's in-charge for the Baramati seat, according to Bawankule. He continued by saying that the appeal for individuals to join the BJP is receiving a rousing response from the populace.

 

Considering that they will be admitted in due time, many people are keen to join the BJP. Modi is trusted by the residents of Baramati, according to Bawankule. He predicted that the BJP would gain 400 seats under Modi's leadership, including 45 (of the total 48 Lok Sabha seats) in Maharashtra. Mahesh Tapase, the state NCP's leading spokesman, responded to Bawankule by telling him that the BJP should quit fantasising about taking the Baramati seat.

 

It is well known for BJP politicians to use rhetorical flourishes to attract media attention, therefore Bawankule's claim that he would win the Baramati seat should not be taken seriously.
