The BJP Government is having fun selling the National Assets: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut

The Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut known for his counter attacks in a recent attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stated that the long-term vision of the late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru has saved the country from the ongoing situation of economic disaster, with the present government now enjoying selling the national assets created by the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

 

“Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) difference with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are all understandable but the party’s differences with Jawaharlal Nehru, why? The institutions that had been created under the governance of late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru are being sold by the present Prime Minister to give a boost to the economy,” stated Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. 

 

These remarks came soon after the dropping of photos of India's first Prime Minister Nehru and the country's first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad from an advertisement which was released by the Union Education Ministry’s Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR) on the eve of 75th year of Independence, which has caused a spark of row.  

 

“The government is enjoying selling the national assets created by the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, or else the country would have been starving, there would be jobless people and there would have been anarchy. The government should be in debt to Jawaharlal Nehru but instead, they have wiped out his role in Freedom Movement. Why there is so much hostility against Jawaharlal Nehru. The government will have to inform the citizens,” stated Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut. 

 

Attacking the government, Shiv Sena in its weekly column Rokthok in the party newspaper Saamana stated that without the contributions of Jawaharlal Nehru and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the history of the Indian Freedom Movement will not be completed.
