Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader announced repealing all three farm laws, the opposition in Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar congratulated the farmers who were agitated by the existing three farm laws.

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar stated that the three farm laws which the government of India passed were carried without any due discussion and just in a few periods. “We had asked that it is very necessary to pay heap in the sector of Agriculture, and proper discussion was very important, but still it was not accepted by the central government,” stated Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar.

Further, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader stated that, at the time when he was the agriculture minister, used to decide on one table from all the states, agriculture universities and farmers. A big step that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken by repelling the farm laws, will be a major step ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022.

The repelling laws were announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, incidentally at a time when it was the Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, celebrated as Guru Nanak Jayanti. “After doing a thorough study we have decided to repeal all the three farm laws at the parliament session itself that will begin this month. This is a request to all the farmers who have left their families, please come back home and let’s start from the beginning.

The work will ahead be led out at the winter session of the parliament, which is from November 29,” stated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address to the nation. This is a very big breaking that is coming in at a time when the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022 are around the corner, this decision is surely going to have a huge impact on the voter's turnout, this time.
