Shiv Sena purifies Thackeray’s memorial after Rane’s visit

Immediately after the Bal Thackeray memorial was paid homage by the BJP, the Shiv Sena purified the memorial. This step of the BJP came before the launch of Jan Ashirwad Yatra at Shivaji Park in north-central Mumbai. Soon after the Shiv Sena performed the purification, a major controversy has arisen between both parties. 

 

This visit of the BJP brought Shiv Sena in a major disagreement, with Rane being the former Shiv Sena leader visited the Bal Thackeray memorial and paid homage to the late Sena chief in the morning, before he launches the “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” in the state. There were many other leaders including Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Pravin Darekar who visited. 

 

During the time of purification by the Shiv Sena, the photo frame was washed with Gomutra by the memorial caretaker Appa Patil and also placed flowers at the memorial. Many Shiv Sena leaders were present for the ceremony. Attacking Rane on this move Patil stated “Rane never had come here in this memorial soon he left the Shiv Sena.

 

Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray sahib who is one of the top five Chief Ministers in the country was called with different names by the opposition. This kind of activity will not be accepted by us at any cost. This is the reason why the purification work was done.” 

 

As soon as the news of Rane visiting the Thackeray memorial came out in the city of Mumbai, Vinayak Raut the Shiv Sena MP filed a serious protest stating that the Union Governments will not be allowed to go near the Thackeray memorial. “As Rane has left the party, he has no rights at all to be anywhere near the Rane has no moral right to go anywhere near the Thackeray memorial,” stated Raut.

 

 

After the attack by Raut, speculations of Rane cancelling his plan to visit the memorial sparked but the Union Minister went ahead with his scheduled visit to the memorial, amid tight security arrangements. “Bala Saheb Thackeray might not be alive but he will bless me as I am doing good for the people. I will generate employment opportunities through my ministry. Our party BJP will be winning the coming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022 and the task of victory in the city has been put on BJP leaders and me,” stated Rane.
