Maharashtra: Shiv Sena Legislator joins BJP, BJP announces the joining
In a move that has shook the Maharashtra ruling government ahead of its Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections after the Shiv Sena witnessed a shift from the party to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of former Shiv Sena Legislator Subhash Sabne as the candidate for the Deglur Assembly constituency elections to be held in Nanded district.

This comes as a surprise for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and shocks the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition in the State of Maharashtra, which is a tough competitor in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BJP) elections to be held next year for all against it.

Soon after the decision of Subhash Sabne, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced him as the candidate for Nanded District. The information came out in a press release which was issued by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) central office on Sunday. Former Shiv Sena Legislator Subhash Sabne, will be joining the party on Monday.

The untimely bypoll was declared by the Election Commission of India (ECI), soon after the death of Congress Legislator Raosaheb Antapurkar’s death in April. Due to which the seat got vacant and the elections commission decided to schedule the bypoll in October on 30th.

“I will be joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tomorrow. Not because I am annoyed with the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray but because of the rising monopoly of Public Work Department (PWD) Minister Ashok Chavan in the district of Nanded, who is trying to keep monopoly there and eliminate the role of Shiv Sena,” stated former Shiv Sena Legislator Subhash Sabne.

Further asked about Shiv Sena’s reaction to this decision, he stated that after demanding candidature from the Deglur Assembly seat, which has not yet been accepted by the Shiv Sena.
