Soon after the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s statement came in, stating a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader a future colleague, the Shiv Sena MP clarified that the statement should not be misunderstood, or considered as a hint that the Shiv Sena is looking forward to joining hands with the BJP in coming time.
The Chief Minister in a recent event called the Union Minister Raosaheb Danave a future colleague of his. After which speculations started to boil up of a possible Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena once partners, may again join hands.

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition will complete its five years under the leadership of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
The
Shiv Sena, do not have this nature of backstabbing. Every statement that we give is straight, not one thing here and something there. Currently, our party is in an alliance with the Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and there is no doubt on this that we are not going to join hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),” stated Shiv Sena MP and Rajya Sabha Member Sanjay Raut.
Adding to it, Raut said that “There are many MLA’s in the BJP, where they are fed up and have lost their trust and faith from the party’s leadership. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders tried to assure them that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) will fail.”
After this the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Spokesperson Nawab Malik also confirmed that there are many
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs, ready to join the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), stating that “The BJP MLAs have realized that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government is always going to stay, with this they have become agitated with the leadership of BJP.”
