In the Gram Panchayat elections in their home villages, the panels supported by Maharashtra Ministers Uday Samant and MLA Bharat Gogawale from the Shiv Sena group led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde lost. In addition, the Deepak Kesarkar-led Sena faction won the fourth Gram Panchayat in Sindhudurg, the district where the school education minister is from. Three Gram Panchayats were won by the ruling BJP in Sindhudurg, according to sources.

On Monday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) asserted that it had won a maximum of 397 seats and that it had joined forces with the CM Shinde-led "Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena" to attain a total of 478 votes. Shirgaon, Phansop, and Pomendi Budruk Gram Panchayats in Ratnagiri, the hometown of state Industries Minister Samant, saw votes cast in favour of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena and its allies. The Shinde faction's chief whip Gogawale's panel won 10 seats in Raigad's Kaleej-Kharavali village, where he was born, while the Thackeray camp and the NCP gained 11 seats and took control.
