Sanjay Raut, a Shiv Sena politician, criticized the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday, claiming that some ED officials have turned into BJP ATMs in Maharashtra. He further stated that the ED has been operating a large-scale scam in Mumbai and that he has filed an FIR against four of its officials in the city.

"A criminal gang and extortion racket run by a nexus of ED officials would be investigated by the Mumbai Police shortly. Some of these ED officials will go to jail as well, believe me "he stated "Why are central agencies targeting a chosen few from states like West Bengal and Maharashtra," Raut remarked of the operations presently ongoing in Mumbai and Pune. He added, "They don't get anyone else from other states because it's a technique to pressurize and destabilize the MVA administration." He also stated that the MVA government will serve out its term.

"I've been watching the Internal Revenue Service target our employees since this morning. "I believe the Income Tax Department will conduct raids in every BMC ward and Shiv Sena Shakha in Mumbai until the municipal elections are held." This department now has the same workload as before. The issue is being asked across the country as to why the central investigation authorities, including the Income Tax Department, are only looking into the cases of a few individuals in Maharashtra and West Bengal.

The Shiv Sena-led Mahavikas Aghadi administration is being overthrown," said Raut, who was accompanied by Shiv Sena MP Arvind Sawant. "I've provided 50 names to the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) so far, but why haven't they opened investigations?" he wondered. "I had handed ED a list of 75 fictitious firms owned by Dhawangale, a close ally of the BJP." However, there has been no investigation. Maharashtra has the largest amount of emergency department operations. The ED has initiated action against 14 Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders and 7 West Bengal leaders," he added.

"Is Maharashtra solely concerned with revenue and taxation? The Shiv Sena will soon uncover who is behind all of these operations," Raut stated. "I highlighted Sumit Kumar Narwar, who used to sell milk but is now rich Rs 8,000 crore and lives in the Malabar Hills, in a recent press conference. I've already sent a letter to the central probe authorities detailing extortion, bribery, and corruption," he stated.

If the BJP-led government deploys central investigation agencies against MVA leaders, Shiv Sena has the right to respond. "The power to investigate is in the hands of central investigating agencies. Similarly, the Mumbai Police Department has authority. At the next news conference, the names of the ED officials will be revealed," he said.
