Now the point of the rift comes when the Shiv Sena leader and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member and Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium enterprises Narayan Rane has showcased the hoardings all over the route to the airport stating credit for the airport work.

In a press conference addressed by Narayan Rane, where he declared that it was the efforts applied by him that lead towards the development of Chipi Airport and was the reason why the work was completed. He claimed that in the 90s he took many efforts for the construction of the Airport for it being a tourist destination, and alleged that the Shiv Sena its next opposition as never a part of it, and now was trying to get credit.

In the inauguration function, the Shiv Sena has not listed the name of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, in the invitation, which has triggered the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in Legislative Council Praveen Darekar and stated that Devendra Fadnavis’s name was excluded from the invitation list, but he had a major role in the airport development project.

Responding to it, Shiv Sena MP stated that whatever decision has been taken by the State Government is taken considering all the necessary protocols while inviting ministers and all the elected representatives.
