Post GHMC election, JP Nadda to visit Mumbai to accelerate 2022 BMC polls.

On December 18, BJP chief JP Nadda will undertake a three-day sojourn to Mumbai for the elevation of BMC polls. The BMC is one of the most central and affluent civic bodies in the country, Sena and BJP contested for the Mumbai civic polls together several times to undergo an associate to adversary transition. BMC goes to the polls in 2022.
 
After coming out as a dominant hand in the recent GHMC civic polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party has now instilled its priorities in BMC polls. aving won four seats in the previous GHMC election in 2016 and escalation to 48 seats is a roaring success for BJP as it leads it to emerge as the second-largest party.
 
On the other hand, BMC with its 277 corporator seats is one of the most important, affluent body has BJP to look forward to repeating its GHMC performance.
 
BJP to announce to contest BMC elections 2022 subsequent to Shiv Sena's exit from NDA. Sena has tied its faith with NCP and Congress, after the Maharashtra Assembly election 2019, which followed differences over Chief Minister post.
 
February 2022 to be reserved for the elections of BMC and 9 other civic corporations, including 27 Zilla Parishad and gram panchayats.
