Politicians visit nullahs to review desilting works

With monsoon in sight leaders of all the political parties have taken to review the nullah cleaning works across the city. On Thursday, Shiv Sena, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders visited the desilting works separately.
 
The ruling BJP-Sena alliance blamed the civic administration for shoddy desilting works, while the congress blamed the Sena and BJP for inadequate nullah cleaning in Mumbai. BJP MP Kirit Somaiya visited the desilting works of nullahs in the eastern suburbs, whereas Mumbai Congress chief Sanjay Nirupam and Leader of opposition in the BMC Pravin Chheda reviewed desilting works in the western suburbs.
 
 

Rajendra Suryavanshi and Anant Nar of the Shiv Sena visited the nullah cleaning works in the city and suburbs.
