Following a meeting between Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Sunday, Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole stated the Telangana CM is working to unite regional parties against the BJP's dictatorship.

Nana Patole, in a scathing attack on the BJP, claimed that the saffron party's leadership at the centre is being autocratic and attempting to destabilize the country's constitution. "Without Congress, this won't work," Nana Patole remarked. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his cabinet colleagues at his official residence in Mumbai today to unite against the Bharatiya Janata Party at the national level ahead of the 2024 General Elections.
Sanjay Raut, a Shiv Sena leader, and actor Prakash Raj were also in attendance at the meeting at Varsha house, the Maharashtra Chief Minister's official residence in Mumbai.

Following KCR's call for opposition parties to unify against the Bharatiya Janata Party, he paid a visit to the city (BJP). The Telangana Chief Minister has previously chastised the BJP, saying that the party should be "expelled" from the country or the country will be "ruined." He also urged for a coalition of political parties to "oust" the BJP from power. KCR plans to meet with his West Bengal counterpart, Mamata Banerjee, as part of efforts to unite opposition parties against the BJP.
