After a recent meeting of NCP president Sharad Pawar and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, amid the political crisis in the MVA government,
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday claimed that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra is strong and steady and there is no veracity in the opposition’s propaganda of any threat to the government.
“Everything is well, there is no fear to MVA government. There is no truth in the propaganda of any threat to the government”
In answer, to the meeting between CM Thackeray and
NCP President Pawar, he stated that it was a deliberate meeting to discuss the ongoing political situation.
“Two big leaders of the alliance- the chief minister and the main guiding force behind the government-met”, stated the Rajya Sabha member. In response to the recently announced government’s package to revive the economy hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Raut said, “I think that common people are not happy with this booster dose, lack of clarity is seen from the government’s side on a concern of people over the loss of livelihood, jobs and rising unemployment. “
Union finance minister on Monday announced 8 economic relief measures to boost Covid-19 affected sectors. Of these 4 are new measures and one is specific to health infrastructure. 1 lakh crore loan guarantee scheme to Covid-19 affected sectors, 1.5 lakh crores for emergency credit line guarantee scheme. The health care sector to get about 50,000 crores interest rates. Other sectors to get about 60,000 crores. The announcement aims at scaling up medical infrastructure. The finance minister has also announced support to the tourism sector. 10 lakh loan to travel agencies, 1 lakh loan to tourist guides.
