Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra's deputy chief minister, declared on Sunday in Amravati that individuals who recite the Hanuman Chalisa will now be honoured and felicitated. His remarks came months after the Mumbai police had detained Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her husband, MLA Ravi Rana, for their call to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in front of former Chief Minister and
Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray's home Matoshree in Bandra during the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
"Ranas is certainly an example of the underprivileged." They were sentenced to 14 days in prison for reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. I'm pleased with them. After taking part in the Dahi Handi celebrations, Fadnavis stated that now that our administration is in place, it will assist individuals reciting the Hanuman Chalisa in the state. He used a sedition allegation against Ranas, the Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi administration, and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. They were subsequently let out of custody.
It has gotten challenging to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in Maharashtra, thus I'd want to congratulate Ravi Rana and Navneet Rana. Then these two stood up and declared that even if they were put in prison, they would not remain without reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. They both had to spend 14 days in jail as a result. I am proud of them both because of this, added Fadnavis.
"Now that our administration has arrived, everything appears to be in order, and everyone is relieved. For two years, everything was nearly shut down. "This government will not throw anyone in jail for chanting Hanuman Chalisa but would honour and felicitate them," the deputy Chief Minister stated, adding that all holidays, including Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali, will now be celebrated in full swing and with excitement. The Rana pair, in particular, appreciates being close to Fadnavis.
Ranas are ardent
BJP supporters who promised to recite the Hanuman Chalisa in front of Matoshree in order to garner political benefit and delegitimize the Shiv Sena's Hindu credentials. Raj Thackeray had called for the shutdown of mosque loudspeakers.
According to Fadnavis, the development ideal envisioned by Ravi Rana and Navneet Rana will now come true.
