NCP President Sharad Pawar meets CM Uddhav Thackeray Ahead of Parliament Monsoon Session
Before the commencement of the monsoon session and after the lines of controversial statements made by State Congress Head Nana Patole, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar led a meeting with the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The meeting was arranged at the official residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at ‘Varsha’.
 
Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) led by Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena includes the Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar the Rajya Sabha member and is the integral component. The third ally of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is Congress. From July 19 the monsoon session of the Parliament will begin and will continue till August 13. 
 
A demand from the Maharashtra State Government to the Centre asking them to step in and take necessary actions to ease the 50 percent limit for the reservation to re-establish political quota for OBC’s in local bodies and for the Marathas in jobs and education to speed up the vaccination drive in the State of Maharashtra the Government has also sought three crores anti-COVID-19 vaccines from the Centre every month.
 
In a recent statement made by Patole which created controversies all over the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government saying he was being watched and with the growing influence in the State of Maharashtra the Shiv Sena and NCP leader are not happy. When asked about the statements which caused a flutter, he replied that wrong information was being spread and there is no dispute in the MVA allies.
 
 
Attacking the NCP for the 2014 assembly elections, on Wednesday the Congress leader said, “Our party was “cheated” seven years ago and now the party is not leaving any stone unturned to prepare for the upcoming elections in 2024.”  In all his statements he declared that Congress will go solo and come out as the largest party all over the State of Maharashtra.
