NCP leaders will begin the Maharashtra phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Nanded on November 10; UBT leader Aaditya Thackeray likely to join.

On November 10, the State Unit Chairman Mr. Jayant Patil, party MP Ms. Supriya Sule, and lawmaker Mr. Jitendra Awhad will welcome the Congress party's Bharat Jodo Yatra as Mr. Sharad Pawar, the head of the NCP, recovers from illness. The Yatra, which is being led by Congressman Rahul Gandhi, reached Maharashtra on Monday and will travel through 15 Assembly and 6 parliamentary districts there during its 14-day journey until November 20.
 
According to Mr. Mahesh Tapase, the NCP's chief spokesman, Mr. Patil, Ms. Sule, and Mr. Awhad will join Mr. Gandhi in Nanded for the Bharat Jodi Yatra and the public meeting where Mr. Gandhi would speak on November 10 as well. In a similar development, Mr. Aaditya Thackeray, the head of the Yuva Sena and the Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT), may take part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Thackeray scion is travelling Marathwada, according to Shiv Sena UBT leader Mr. Sachin Ahir, and the yatra will also be passing through the area.
 
"It cannot be ruled out that Aaditya Thackeray will attend the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The choice will be made following consultations with the party leader (Uddhav Thackeray). Coincidentally, he is also visiting the area (Marathwada), and Mr. Ahir added that efforts were being made to see whether his visit may overlap with the demonstration. The Sena MLC added, "This is to be welcomed if they are coming to Maharashtra. The purpose behind Bharat Jodo Yatra is to bring everyone together and deliberately or not, people from every part of society are supporting it.
