NCP leader hit out at Devendra Fadnavis
Soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis slammed the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik, the leader hit back referring to the statement stated earlier by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader that he would provide evidence of Malik’s connections with the Underworld after Diwali festival, he then counter-attacked stating that the leader should not wait and go ahead exposing his links.

“Allegations were levelled against me that I have underworld connections, I have spent 62 years of my life in the city of Mumbai, how can anyone and no one has any guts to state anything like this about me,” stated Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik.

The attack from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis came soon after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik stated that the leader had a connection with a drug peddler Jaydeep Rana, and used to share a good relation.

He also further alleged that Fadnavis’s wife had sung Mumbai River Anthem which was an album funded by Rana, the drug peddler. Further responding to this allegation, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that he had no connection and didn’t share any kind of relationship with Rana, and those people who have relations with the underworld should not give statements like this. Further, he added that he would present evidence of Malik’s connection with the underworld.

This attack has come at a time when Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022 are approaching and every party is levelled up for attack, slamming, counter-attacking and politicising every issue in response.
