Narayan Rane attacks Shiv Sena, says BJP will win BMC elections

After the Shiv Sena being against the Union Minister Narayan Rane of a launch of Jan Ashirwad Yatra, the BJP leader on Thursday launched his rally from Mumbai.  But later on, seven FIRs were registered by the Mumbai Police as the yatra floated Covid 19 guidelines.

The Union Minister Narayan Rane, soon on his arrival in the city of Mumbai paid tributes to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Thursday morning and then headed towards the memorial of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray. Shiv Sena MP Vinayak Raut stated that “Our party will not allow Rane to visit and pay respects to the memorial of Bala Saheb Thackeray.”

But later the party changed its statement and said that “Shiv Sena would not restrict the entry of Rane, as he respects the Supremo so he should be following his ideology,” stated Mayor Kishori Pednekar. Rane responding to these attacks stated that “The memorial of Thackeray is not somebody’s private property. For a very long time, I was waiting for this day to come and this place is built by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). In the past time when I was in Shiv Sena, Thackeray would tell me that Narayan you should go forward. And I feel that today too he is going to bless me. And I am very confident that the BJP will win the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022.”
