In Maharashtra, the Congress party, which shares power with the Shiv Sena and the Congress, will conduct a state-wide protest on March 31 against the country's soaring prices of petrol, gasoline, gas, and other vital commodities. The demonstration, according to state Congress chief Nana Patole, is aimed at ridding Bharat of inflation.

Patole slammed the BJP-led central government for raising fuel and cooking gas prices, particularly after the assembly elections in five states were finished. '' The increase in gasoline, diesel and cooking gas prices occurred during the election season in five states. However, once the elections were over, prices began to rise. Auto gasoline prices have risen by Rs 3.20 in the last five days while cooking gas prices have risen by Rs 50. CNG and PNG, as well as edible oil, have seen comparable increases.

Furthermore, beginning April 1, the cost of medicines will increase, putting an additional strain on the average person. In light of this, Congress will hold state-wide protests beginning March 31. Patole stated that the Congress workers will stage agitation on March 31 at 11 A.M. and that from April 2 to 4, they will hold sit-in protests and take out morchas at the district headquarters. On April 7, a sit-in dharna will be held in Mumbai. He stated that the Congress party supports the call made by several trade unions on March 28 and 29 to protest the BJP-led government's economic policies.
