The ruling alliance retaliated against the Bharatiya Janata Party with BMC notices to BJP leader Mohit Kamboj after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took action against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's properties in Alibaug and his flat in Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation has previously sent him 12 notices under section 351 (1) of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act.
 
The ruling alliance retaliated against the Bharatiya Janata Party with BMC notices to BJP leader Mohit Kamboj after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took action against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut's properties in Alibaug and his flat in Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Mohit Kamboj was handed a notice by the BMC H West ward Assistant Municipal Commissioner Vinayak Vispute for executing and beginning alteration work on his first-floor property without permission.
 
The notification further asks for an explanation in writing within seven days as to why the change should not be removed and prosecution under Section 475 A for imprisonment and fines launched. The notice has asked for an explanation for the changes made beyond the approved plans, including the merger of two flats into one unit held by Mohit Kamboj.
