According to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government in Maharashtra will serve a full term and retain power in the 2024 Assembly elections. Raut's remarks come a day after former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis predicted that, like in Goa, the BJP will win Maharashtra's upcoming elections on its own.

The Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party, and Congress make up the MVA. "The government of Uddhav Thackeray has been in power for two and a half years. It will be another two-and-a-half-year. We will be re-elected (in 2024), and we will remain in power "Here's what Raut had to say to the media.

When asked about Fadnavis's remark, Raut noted that Fadnavis was the BJPs in charge of the Goa Assembly elections and that the party's success in that state had empowered him to make such a prediction. Fadnavis, on the other hand, said cryptically that he will soon find out what Goa is.

"Even the Portuguese and British were baffled by Goa. Several political groups were equally baffled by it "he stated. In response to a question, Raut accused the BJP of eroding Maharashtra's previous "culture and humour" in politics. "People are now afraid to speak. Previously, such a circumstance did not exist in Maharashtra. Unfortunately, our BJP colleagues have done so" he stated.
