Maharashtra Congress committee president, Nana Patole has expressed his desire to become the Chief Minister of the state and MP and Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi to be the Prime Minister. On this, the Bharatiya Janta Party has taken a swipe at him. BJP legislator Atul Bhatkhalkar said that both of these things are not possible shortly as people of the country do not want this.
Bhatkhalkar said in a tweet, “Nana Patole wants to be the CM. Rahul Ji wants to be the PM, but the people don’t think so at all. There is no possibility of it shortly.”

Bhatkhalkar took a dig at Patole a day after he said that the Congress, which is currently in alliance with Shiv Sena and NCP, will contest the next assembly elections on their own and will emerge as the largest party. Patole has expressed his desire to become the CM in a video, which went viral on social media. Nana Patole has clarified that the Congress party has already announced the move of contesting elections independently so that it does not hold responsible for backstabbing.
