Maharashtra CM’s directives of keeping eye on migrants, MNS welcomes the decision
After recent directions given by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray that the Mumbai Police should keep a tab on people who are entering the state from different states and the transfers of auto-rickshaws only to those who have authorised licence has triggered political reactions from the opposition party.

However, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) accepted this move but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has registered a complaint against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray alleging that the minister is provoking disharmony, the enmity between different communities.

This reaction from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was in response to the directives stated by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to the Police Officers on keeping records of the people coming from different states. The Chief Minister further directed the authorities to stop the illegal transfers of auto-rickshaws by asking the permit holders to register their information at all the local police stations as the heinous crime of the Saki Naka rape case took place in an auto-rickshaw.
.
The complaint has been filed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator Atul Bhatkhalkar against Chief Minster Uddhav Thackeray and his wife Rashmi. He demanded a first information report (FIR) under section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code.

“The directives raised by Chief Minster Uddhav Thackeray has induced hatred among different communities and he is trying to make people believe that migrants are criminals. Rather than keeping a check on the law and order in the state, the Chief Minister and the party’s mouthpiece Saamana have made outsiders the target,” he stated.
