After a recent episode of Lakhimpur Kheri, where four farmers in Uttar Pradesh as the agitation grew, soon after the opponents in the Maharashtra ruling government decided for a statewide bandh on October 11 to fight for the farmers who have been killed. , Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), stated that the decision of bandh has been taken, to show that the stated is with the farmers.
Shiv Sena’s spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Raut stated that his party will fully participate in Maharashtra bandh, and was necessary to wake people up and make them aware of the Centre’s anti-farmers policies, further stating that farmers are not alone in the fight, giving them solidarity is important and it will start from the state of Maharashtra.
“The coalition in the state, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government will be participating actively in the bandh to be organized. The incident in Lakhimpur Kheri has shocked everyone and was the murder of Constitution, law and a conspiracy,” stated Shiv Sena Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Raut, with Nawab Malik and Sachin Sawan.
Raut urged people to come together and support this statewide bandh stating that they should show this by keeping our work shut for just one day, just for one day. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) spokesperson also urged the workers of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government to not create any issues for the essential services, such as hospitals, medical stores, and milk supply during the bandh. The opposition, Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) damned the statewide bandh and stated that the ruling party in the state of Maharashtra was politicizing the issue of Lakhimpur Kheri.
