In a recent rift between the two parties in Maharashtra, after an action against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Kirit Somaiya was taken by not allowing him to enter Kolhapur, where he was going to file a complaint against the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Minister Hasan Mushrif.
After this action, the Shiv Sena leader and spokesperson Sanjay Raut very cautiously disassociated Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray from this action and stated that this decision was taken by the home department- this a portfolio which is headed by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Dilip Walse Patil.
This statement depicts the relation the coalition government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) consisting of Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) shares. The three parties when attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are not on the same page.
“If you have the control over the central agencies and are making false allegations against prominent leaders and ministers in the state of Maharashtra, resulting in a law-and-order issue, the state department has full power to act on it. I had a conversation with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and it was stated very clearly by him that the Chief Minister’s office was not involved in this action against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and this was an action taken by the Home Department,” stated
Shiv Sena MP and Rajya Sabha Member.
Further adding to it he said that. There is no need to involve Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in these small matters as he never gets involved in these small matters. Now the scenario of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition evolves in such a way that an individual who faces allegations comes out defending themselves but with no coordinated effort to attack its opposition
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Reacting to this relation the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government shares, Political Analyst Hemant Desai stated that it was not the first time, but there have been several examples when parties and state government lacked coordination.
