Despite long hours of meeting not concluding, went on to throw black paint at Anil Parab’s Residence
Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, a big issue that has surrounded the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government consisting of the Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), is vicious. Soon after the Maharashtra transport Minister Anil Parab met the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar, black oil paint was thrown at his official residence by Janshakti Sangathan workers who were protesting over the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) strike issue.

Soon after the police force got the information, the accused was detained. On Monday Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar had met many leaders like Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Transport Minister Anil Parab and MSRTC officers to discuss the strike. The points of discussion were the demand of employees for the corporation’s merger with the state government but there was no conclusion of the meeting despite going on for long hours.

“Due to the strike, there are many issues that are being raised by the commuters all over the state of Maharashtra. In this regards the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar called me so that a meeting be held and we come to a conclusion. So, we had discussed how the issues should be addressed which are being raised by the employees. Further, we had also discussed the  MSRTC’s financial state and its revival by exploring multiple options,” stated State transport Minister Anil Parab. He further stated that wage revision demand was also discussed in the meeting which has been raised by the employees and in the meeting, it was decided to be discussed in the winter session.
