Congress Slams BJP over the Param Bir Singh conflict
Soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) slammed the Shiv Sena in the state of Maharashtra over the Param Bir Singh issue, the Congress one of the alliances of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government consisting of Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), counter attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The attack came from the Congress leader Sachin Sawant and held Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) responsible for giving a clear space to the former Mumbai top cop linked the issue to the likes of Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi and Vijay Mallya. “If Param Bir Singh was responsible for the money laundering case, there surely there is the role of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in it and providing him with that space.

It makes it very clear that saving Param Bir Singh, will support the plan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). How many times do we see the chowkidar government interfering in the cases like Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Mallya, and Param Bir Singh?” stated Congress leader Sachin Sawant.

These allegations from the alliance of the Shiv Sena Party, Congress came when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam alleged the state government, that it was pointing fingers towards the Centre and the state government will have to answer where Param Bir Singh was.

“The Maharashtra leaders are continuously stating that Param Bir Singh has left the country. From past two years it has become a daily chore of the state government to point fingers at the Centre, when will they realize their responsibility?” stated Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam.
