Nana Patole, Row over NCP Chief Sharad Pawar’s statement: Congress’s faith was broken by the leaders it empowered
A recent comment from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar stating that Congress`s condition in the current time was the same as impoverished landlords who did not have any land and could not maintain their houses, has given rise to a sparkling reaction from Maharashtra Congress Chief Nana Patole. These reactions from Nana Patole came on Friday while speaking to the reporters. Further, Congress Chief Nana Patole spoke about Pawar`s exit from the Congress Party over two decades ago.

“The leaders whom the Congress party trusted; those leaders betrayed them. Congress party was never a zamindar, Congress had given its land to many leaders to keep a watch on it but eventually, they stole it in the past years. There will be a Congress Prime Minister in the year 2024,” stated Congress Chief Nana Patole.

While speaking to a news portal on Thursday, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar stated that once there used to be a time when Congress Party had its presence from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, but the party now should have this knowledge that this isn’t the case in the current scenario.

"When it is about leadership, my friends in the Congress are not in a mind to take a different point of view," stated Sharad Pawar. Further, he stated that in the past he spoke about the zamindars from Uttar Pradesh who lost all their land and were only left with their Havelis, which they were not able to maintain or repair, same was the situation of Congress Party. Responding to these comments from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis that the leader has shown the mirror to the Congress Party.
