Mumbai: The Congress on Wednesday joined with BJP in criticizing the Shiv Sena-ruled Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for its clean-up across the city, saying the city council's claims were a "farce". When Congress announced that an audit of the work would begin from Thursday, the BJP demanded CCTV footage of designated dumping sites where waste removed from the pits was dumped.

The Congress is an ally of the ruling Maharashtra Vikas Agadi (MVA) government, army, and NCP in the state. Ravi Raja, Leader of the opposition and Congress corporator in the BMC, said, "We will look into the clean-up operations of the goodies across Mumbai."

After the visit, we will understand the real facts. BMC's claim that the clean-up operation is complete is ac.” BMC said it had completed the cleaning of the main nostrils. The BMC also said that the disassembly of the Mitti River and minor piercings is on schedule and will be completed by June 7. The ruling Shiv Sena echoed the same views.
