Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, stated in a virtual address to the public on Tuesday that the

BJP government is working assiduously to promote the overall development of farmers, workers, the underprivileged, and exploited individuals. "Work on the development is ongoing on all fronts and axes. Almost all industries, including those in agriculture, irrigation, infrastructure, business, tourism, medicine, and education, have accelerated. The focus is on incorporating common people's dreams and goals into development works, plans, and projects "In his 10-minute speech to the populace for Diwali, Shinde said.
"The economy has been churning. Individuals now have more faith in the future, and things are improving. Everyone has turned their hope and confidence toward Maharashtra. Since there has been a recovery in nearly all industries, we are observing favourable improvements, said Shinde. We overcame natural disasters and began putting some solid plans into action. We are pleased with their accomplishments," he continued. "Maharashtra is a leader in foreign investment and trade, as well as in the development of industry and infrastructure." We hope he will continue to drive the nation's economic expansion. The Chief Minister stated, "We are all working together on this."
He continued by stating that a free state transit bus travel programme for seniors over 75 was introduced in celebration of the country's 75th anniversary and that in just 52 days, more than one crore senior residents had benefited from it. Seven crore people will benefit from the "Anandacha Shidha" that was distributed to ration card users for Diwali for merely Rs 100. The Chief Minister stated,
"We have also decided to provide double compensation of relief to those who have been affected by the heavy rains and floods, in which almost 30 lakh farmers have been awarded relief of Rs 4,000 crore." Shinde claimed that even though farmers did not meet the requirements for compensation, a staggering Rs 755 crore was nevertheless handed to them. ‘’ A historic decision has been taken to waive loans worth Rs 950 crore of about 35,000 farmers who have taken loans from the Land Development Bank.
