BJP started the door-to-door MLA campaign ahead of BMC elections 2022

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections are scheduled for February 2022. All the major parties in Mumbai have begun the preparations for the upcoming civic polls. Bhartiya Janta Party has already started with the door-to-door MLA campaign. In the BMC elections 2022, Shiv Sena will keep the ties with NCP, whereas, Congress will contest the elections on their own.
BJP is trying hard to get into power and therefore has started with a campaign, ‘MLA Aapke Dwar’. This initiative has been started to connect the BJP MLAs with the people of their respective constituencies. In this, the candidates will go door-to-door and will try to reach out to the maximum public in the wards of Mumbai.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress has constantly been in the headlines since 2019, and BJP never misses any chance to target the ruling government. BJP has started the early campaigning this year to cover all the wards before the elections in February 2022. This year the Shiv Sena ruled BMC is receiving criticism for insufficient preparations for the monsoon season.
