According to the police, an unnamed person was charged after a BJP civic poll campaign truck shaped like a rath was vandalized in the early hours of Tuesday in the Cheetah Camp area. The 'Pol Khol' (corruption expose) van was parked near a road, and the cracked windscreen, caused by stone-pelting, was discovered the next morning, according to the report.
BJP members holding placards chanted chants against the State Government outside the Chembur police station during the demonstration, demanding the arrest of the perpetrators, according to officials. He claimed two people have been held in the case so far, but no arrests have been made, and that two teams have been formed to break the case.
Regardless of the attack on the truck, Maharashtra Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis reaffirmed that the BJP will continue its 'Pol Khol' campaign against the
Shiv Sena-controlled
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). "The BJP will continue its 'Pol-Khol campaign against the Sena-controlled BMC," Fadnavis told reporters in Nagpur. We will not back down, no matter how many times we are attacked.
He warned that if the police fail to safeguard the
BJP and its campaign, their wrongdoings will be exposed. The BJP, according to the former chief minister, is exposing the Sena-controlled civic body's corrupt practices. It has shaken the party's leadership. The incident implies that the BMC's rulers are terrified.
Fadnavis, when asked about the communal tensions in Amravati, stated, "The police are behaving in the same manner as the British, who used to smash independence fighters. The administration and several ministers are seeking to appease a particular community, which is exacerbating Amravati's communal strife." He believes the police should intervene and avert any law and order issues in Amravati.
Fadnavis reacted to Shiv Sena, NCP, and
Congress members of the MVA insulting MNS chairman Raj Thackeray, saying, "These people were ecstatic when Raj criticized the BJP ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Raj is currently criticizing the state government, and as a result, he is being attacked. To carry out its agenda, the BJP does not require any proxies."
