MNS Student Body Chief Aditya Shirodkar Joins Shiv Sena Ahead of the BMC Elections
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections are approaching with enough time being left but all the parties have begun with the preparations and have geared up for it well before the time. Aditya Shirodkar who was heading the student’s wing of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and also contested in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from the city of Mumbai on MNS ticket now has been inducted by the Shiv Sena. By this, the Shiv Sena government led by chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has given a jolt to its arch-rival Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
Aditya Shirodkar was welcomed in the existence of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray with Cabinet Minister Aditya Thackeray, Yuva Sena Secretary Varun Sardesai & Yuva Sena core committee member Sainath Durge. Shiv Sena believes that inducting Shirodkar will be of great help for the party because as he has been the head of the student’s wing so it will become simpler to reach more students and more students who are going to vote for the first time in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections.
As Shirodkar was very active in his part so he was appointed as the head of his party’s student wing by Raj Thackeray. He was also in the Bhartiya Vidyarthi Sena & Shiv Udyog Sena. There was a close attachment of Aditya Shirodkar & his father Rajan Shirodkar with the MNS chief Raj Thackeray. After Maha Vikas Aghadi government led by Uddhav Thackeray was formed in the State of Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray had asked his shadow cabinet to keep a check on the government.
