Congress: Nana Patole's Statement was Misconstrued and taken out of Context
A recent statement given by Congress Leader Nana Patole blaming his Government in Maharashtra for keeping an eye on his movements has triggered another damage control in the state's ruling coalition, and declarations of unity. The chief of the Congress party in Maharashtra unit Nana Patole, in a recent statement, stated “I was misinterpreted and the BJP is trying to create a crack in the Shiv Sena Nationalist Congress Party – Congress Alliance.”

“As BJP leaders are aware that the competition is high and Congress is coming back in Maharashtra will prove to be the number one party in 2024, they are trying to create chaos in Maha Vikas Aghadi government” stated the Congress leader. When questioned if he was called by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for an explanation after there were complaints made by Sena leaders, he denied of any such happening “I didn’t hear of any complaints that have been made, and if there are complaints like this, I would meet the Chief Minister and give him the explanations because our fight isn’t against Shiv Sena but BJP” Mr. Patole stated.

On the statement Patole had given earlier on Saturday he claimed that the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister were keeping an eye on him as they are now fear the growth of the Congress party in the State of Maharashtra. "They get all the reports of where the protests are going to be held, who is going where. They are also aware of me and what I am doing. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have their eyes on me.” Mr. Patole stated in a statement given by him earlier.
