As the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022 approach the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has begun its preparation by opening the party’s office in the Fort area of Mumbai on Thursday which is close to the headquarters of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). 

 
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to prepare itself with an eye on approaching Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in February 2022. “An office has been set up by us in South Mumbai, the heart of Maharashtra politics. This is part of our campaign so that we can reach out to the voters in the city of Mumbai. We welcome Mumbaikars from all walks of life to join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), to be the members of our organisation and utilise AAP as a vehicle for the social change that Mumbai is in need for,” stated AAP Mumbai in-charge Preeti Sharma Menon.
 
“There are hell lot of many problems that the city of Mumbai faces from the politicians as the politicians have become blind and apathetic to the woes of our citizens. This needs to be changed and Aam Janata Party (AAP) will be the solution for all the matters,” stated Ruben Mascarenhas, working President of AAP Mumbai.
 
As the party performed well in the Maharashtra Panchayat Polls, they aim to win more than 70 seats in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). “The Shiv Sena, who currently is ruling the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had only won 14.5 lakh votes out of around a crore in the last election. We are aware that many parties distribute cash for elections but we are going to campaign door to door and appeal to voters,” stated Preeti Sharma.
